Abstract:Objective To evaluate the evidence-based feed-forward control in risk management of intrahospital transport of patients with severe brain injury. Methods 〓The evidence-based feed-forward control was carried out to reduce the risk in intrahospital transport of patients with severe brain injury. Totally 98 patients routinely transported between July, 2016 and December, 2016 were selected as the control group, and another 102 patients transported under the feed-forward control between January, 2017 and June 2017 were selected as the observation group. The incidence of transport accidents and the defect rate of risk prevention were observed and compared between two groups. Results 〓The incidence of transport accidents and the defect rate of preventive measures were lower in the observation than those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓The implementation of evidence-based feed-forward measures can effectively raise the consciousness of medical risk management, reduce the risk of transport accidents and defects in prevention of hidden hazards, improve the safety of intrahospital transport of patients with severe brain injury.
