Abstract:ABSTRACT: Objective To investigate the interference factors and nursing strategy to noninvasive ventilator application in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) with respiratory failure. Methods A total of 42 COPD combined respiratory failure patients underwent noninvasive ventilator treatment were randomly divided into observation (n=21) and control group (n=21). Nursing strategy was made according to potential interference factors in observation group. The satisfaction rate, incidence of complication and length of stay were compared between two groups. Results Observation group received shorter length of stay, lower incidence of complication and higher satisfaction rate compared with the control (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion Nursing strategymaking according to potential interference factors in noninvasive ventilator treatment is effective to reduce the length of stay and incidence of complication, and improve the nursing satisfaction rate.
