摘要

Abstract：Acute hypoxic respiratory failure is a common critical disease in clinics. With the development of oxygen therapy, the high-flow nasal cannula therapy is becoming more popular in treatment of acute hypoxemic respiratory failure. It shows advantages in improving oxygenation index and comfort level of patients during treatment. However, many questions about its indications, contraindications, and the stability of positive end expiratory pressure(PEEP)are still unclear. More efforts should be paid on the clinical application of high-flow nasal cannula therapy in the future.
