：Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle(QCC)activities on reducing the incidence of breast distending pain in postpartum women. Methods 〓A QCC group was set up, and targeted interventions on breast distending pain of postpartum women were carried out. The incidence of breast distending pain was observed in a sample of 204 postpartum women, and was compared with that in a sample of 209 postpartum women before implementation of QCC activities. Results 〓The incidence o breast distending pain dropped from 26.79%(56/209)before implementation of QCC to 14.71%(30/204)after implementation of QCC. Conclusion 〓The QCC activity is an effective tool of reducing the incidence of breast distending pain in postpartum women.
