The rules for selection of dislocation nucleation centers of martensite in the dynamic theory of reconstructive martensitic transformations
In the light of the new paradigm provides a brief overview of the works, reflecting mainly the evolution of the dynamical theory of martensitic transformations applied to the selection rules of dislocation nucleation centers of martensitic crystals. It is noted that the inclusion of quasi-longitudinal waves alters the balance between the ratio of the speeds of the waves and deformations.
