Ultrasoundwasintroducedinto7050aluminumalloyaddedAl-Ti-Cgrainrefinerswithdifferentmassfractions.Influencesofthreemethodsoftreatingmoltenmelt:applyingsingleultrasound,singleAl-Ti-Cgrainrefinersandthetwotogether,onnucleationinthesolidificationprocesswerestudiedthroughtheanalysisofthemicrostructures.TheresultsshowthecavitationeffectcausedbyultrasonicvibrationchangesthemicrostructureofAl-Ti-Cgrainrefiners,increasesthediffusionandwettabilityoftheTiCclusters,restrainsandsmashesthegrowthofTiAl3nbsp;clusters,andthenenhancestherefinementeffectofAl-Ti-Cgrainrefiner.Therefore,whenthemeltwastreatedsynchronouslybyultrasoundandgrainrefiner,thefinergrainscanbeobtainedthanthatbyasingleway.
