Weobtainedsimultaneouslyprofilesofthecoronalgreenline(FeXIV5303A)andredline([FeX]6374A)onanumberofdaysatseveralregionscoveringanareaofabout200a€3?—500a€3inthesolarcorona.Theintensity,velocity,andwidthforbothoftheselineswerecomputedbymakingaGaussianfittotheobservedlineprofile.Wefindthatincoronalstructuresthespatialvariationsintheredandgreenlineintensitiesarecorrelated.Theratioofgreen-tored-lineintensitiesvariesbetween0.6a€“9.2fordifferentcoronalstructures.Thevalueoftheintensityratioinanindividualcoronalstructurealsovarieswithheightabovethesolarlimbalongthestructure.Therangeofvaluesoftheintensityratioobservedimpliesthatmostofthestructuresunderinvestigationhadatemperatureintherangeof1.2a€“1.6?—106K.Also,wefindthatincoronalstructuresthewidthoftheredlineincreaseswithheightabovethelimb,whereasthegreen-linewidthinthesameregiondecreaseswithheight.Thisbehaviorofthelinewidthscanbeexplainedifweassumethemixingofplasmainthemiddleandhigherportionsofthecoronalstructuresbymicroturbulenceortravelingwaves,whichhavebeendetectedrecently.NoHaloopsandactivitywereseenintheseregionsduringtheobservationperiods.
