Blazarshavebeenregardedasoneofthemostpowerfulsourcesofthehighestenergycosmicraysandalsotheirbyproducts,neutrinos.Providedthatamagnetizedfilamentarysystemisestablishedinablazarjetaswell,wecouldapplythemechanismofmulti-stagediffusiveshockaccelerationtoafeasibleTeVemitter,Mrk501toevaluatetheachievablemaximumenergyofprotons.Takingconceivableenergyrestrictionintoaccountsystematically,itseemsadequatetosaythatEeV-protonsareproducedatthissitebyourpresentmodel.Wealsoestimateneutrinofluxesgeneratedbytheseacceleratedprotons,anddiscussthedetectabilitybasedonanupdatedkilometer-scaletelescope,suchasIceCube.
