Tourism for persons with disabilities is a little worked-on field in scientific journals on tourism published in Ibero-America. Apart from the articles being scarce on the subject, there is not a consensus in terms of approaching it. This is due to the fact than the concepts of disability, accessibility, and tourism have more discrepancies than agreements. The objective of this work is to categorize articles on tourism for persons with disabilities published in scientific journals of tourism in Ibero-America depending on the interpretations of disability and accessibility. The method of content analysis was used. 34 journals were revised, 20 of which published articles related to the subject. 43 texts were analyzed in total. The results of the categorization showed a dominance of inquiries coming from Brazilian universities and, three main patterns followed by the authors in their articles: a) attitudes –hospitality-social inclusion; judicial framework-legal obligation; and business opportunity.Resumen: El turismo para personas con discapacidad es un campo poco trabajado en revistas científicas sobre turismo publicadas en Iberoamérica. Además de ser escasos los artículos sobre el tema, no existe un consenso en cuanto a la forma de abordarlo, pues en su origen, los conceptos de discapacidad, accesibilidad y turismo poseen más discrepancias que consensos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo categorizar artículos sobre turismo para personas con discapacidad publicados en revistas científicas de turismo Iberoamericanas, en función de las interpretaciones de la discapacidad y accesibilidad. Se empleó el método de análisis de contenido. Se revisaron 34 revistas, de las cuales 20 publicaron artículos referentes al tema. En total se analizaron 43 textos. Los resultados de la categorización mostraron un dominio de pesquisas provenientes de universidades brasile?as, y tres principales patrones que siguieron los autores en la redacción de sus artículos: a) actitudes-hospitalidad-inclusión social, b) marco jurídico-obligación legal, y c) oportunidad de negocio.
