Weconsidertheeffectsofmutualtransitsbyextrasolarplaneta€“companionsystems(inatruebinaryoraplaneta€“satellitesystem)onlightcurves.Weshowthatinducedchangesinlightcurvesdependstronglyonaratiobetweenaplaneta€“companiona€?sorbitalvelocityaroundtheirhoststarandaplaneta€“companiona€?sspinspeedaroundtheircommoncenterofmass.Inboththeslowandfast-spincases(correspondingtolongandshortdistancesbetweenthem,respectively),acertainasymmetryappearsinlightcurves.Weshowthat,especiallyinthecaseofshortdistances,occultationofonefaintobjectbytheother,whilethetransitoftheplaneta€“companionsystemoccursinfrontofitsparentstar,causesanapparentincreaseinlightcurves,andcharacteristicfluctuationsappearasimportantevidenceofmutualtransits.Weshowalsothatextrasolarmutualtransitsprovideacomplementarymethodformeasuringtheradiioftwotransitingobjects,theirseparationandmasses,andconsequentlyforidentifyingthesystemasatruebinary,aplaneta€“satellitesystem,orothers.Monitoring10$$^5$$starsfor3yrwithKeplermayleadtothediscoveryofasecondEartha€“Moon-likesystemifthefractionofsuchsystemsforanaveragedstarislargerthan0.05,orwemayputanupperlimitonthefractionas$$f$$$$lt$$0.05.
