Wehaveinvestigatedtheprocessesofbothnonrelativisticandrelativisticjet-cloudcollisionsusingarelativistichydrodynamicsimulationcode.Severalrunswereperformedtostudydifferentaspectsofthesekindsofcollisions.Simulationsshowthatthecollisionsinvolvetwokindsofprocesses:reflectionandbending.Collisionsofrelativisticjetsandhigh-Mach-numbernonrelativisticjetsappearasreflections,whilethecollisionsoflow-Mach-numbernonrelativisticjetsshowareflectionfeatureattheirearlystageandabendingfeatureattheirlatestage.Downstreamofthecollisionspointtheflowisstillsupersonic.Inthebendingcases,theoriginalsupersonicstateismaintainedallthetime,whileinthereflectionprocesses,thesupersonicconditionofthedownstreamsflowisre-establishedbyhighpressure.Thedeflectionangleisnotfixed;itdependsonalmostallparametersinvolvedinthecollisions.Evenforaparticularcollisionprocess,itsdeflectionangleisnotfixed,butratherchangeswithtime.Tworesultsarenoticeable:(1)thedeflectionanglecanbegreaterthan90?°;(2)inthecollisionregionofareflectionprocess,thetemperatureishighandthejetmaterialsuffersrapiddecelerationandreacceleration.
