Wereportonadistancemeasurementof22GHzH2Omaserfeaturesassociatedwithanultra-compactHa€‰iiregionG7.47+0.06usingVERA(VLBIExplorationofRadioAstrometry).Sincethesourceislocatedfartherawaythan10a€‰kpc,itturnedouttobedifficulttoderivethedistancefromannualparallaxmeasurement.Meanwhile,weclearlydetectedthesource'spropermotionparalleltotheGalacticplane.Thepropermotionis????=??a?’5.03a€‰?±a€‰0.07a€‰masa€‰yra?’1andisapproachingtheGalacticcenter.Weappliedanewmethodtodeterminethesourcedistancebasedonabsolutepropermotions.ConsideringuncertaintiesoftheGalacticrotationcurveandthesolarpeculiarmotion,thedetectedpropermotionleadstoasourcedistanceofD=20a€‰?±a€‰2a€‰kpc,demonstratingthatastrometricobservationcanprovideanaccuratedistancemeasurementata10%levelevenforsourcestoodistanttomeasuretheannualparallax.Lastly,wescalethephysicalparametersoftheHa€‰iiregionestimatedinapreviouspapertobe20a€‰kpc,andshowthattheH2Omaserfeaturesareassociatedwithamassivestar-formingregioncorrespondingtothespectraltypeofO5.5.
