摘要

This article sheds light on the young Hartvig Nissen, and enlightens how Nissen’s understanding of school and education relates to impulses received during his study days in Copenhagen at the end of the 1830’. Not least, N. F. S. Grundtvig played an important role in the study environment of which he was a part during his stay in the Danish capital. Grundtvig’s texts play a more important role in Nissen’s works than what has been thought thus far. This article will thus nuance the established understanding of Johan Nicolai Madvig as the most important background for Hartvig Nissens ideas.
