The rise of MOOC brings about the revolution of traditional education. In view of the advantages and disadvantages of MOOC and traditional classroom teaching, scholars have advocated that blended learning with the combination of the two will become the mainstream of the education development pattern. The author made use of the blending MOOC model in college English teaching. In the research test, there is a control group which were an ordinary class taught college English in the traditional model. The results show that: (1) the MOOC model class can effectively improve the examination score and reduce the instability of the test scores; (2) the MOOC model can effectively enhance students' learning interest and maintain its stability; (3) we consider the test scores as the dependent variable Y and the participation time of MOOC as the independent variable X. The polynomial fitting result of X and Y is: Y = -2.3003X2 + 14.981X + 64.553. The more time the student participates in MOOC class, the good academic performance he will have under normal circumstances.
