摘要

The paper deals with image processing in the analysis of product quality. The authors’ goal is to design and implement a camera system that will work on the principles of industrial microscopy, to measure and compare the porosity of metal castings cuts. A partial goal is to determine which method is optimal for practical use in applications for the camera system in industrial microscopy. Individual algorithms of the methods examined were tested in laboratory conditions and their algorithms were theoretically outlined in the relevant chapter of the paper. In the conclusion, the authors found out that for the use in the applications for the camera system in industrial microscopy, Clustering Threshold Image appears to be the optimal method.
