Population projections are necessary to estimate the future population by following the trend (increase) line. Population projections are significant for managing and planning the research area. This study aims to examine the water need and water consumption of Gaziantep province. In order to determine the future population of Gaziantep city, ?lbank method was utilized in the calculations. Düzba? Dam which is considered to supply drinking water to Gaziantep is not sufficient for close future and in order to supply water to city it is estimated that there will be need for new water resources. Therefore, state corporation should take required precautions.
