Financing and Mobilization of Revenue in Higher Educational Institutions: Evidence from Far-West Province, Nepal

摘要

The study has employed a?mixed method?to analyze generation and mobilization of revenue in higher educational institutions, in the context of Far-west Provence considering three clusters; private campuses, community campuses?and?constituent campuses. It has analyzed the information in two separate sections; secondary data analysis and primary data analysis , ?then?after the findings have been merged to?draw conclusions. The correlation, regression?and?Granger Causality?ha ve ?been examined for the secondary data analysis and thematic discussion has been conducted for the primary data analysis. The analysis of secondary data shown that community campuses and QAA certified campuses have been heavily dependent on the students’ contribution. Whereas, the constituent campuses have been?depended?on other institutional incomes. The efficiency of revenue mobilization has found a weak relationship with academic achievements. After a discussion with institutional heads, a new model of educational institution has been proposed.
