In the analysis with finite elements of a solid body having a general rigid motion occur additional elements which can change the dynamic response of the system. In the second part of the paper the equations obtained in the first part for determining the eigenvalues and the eigenmodes for a truck transmission cardan joint are applied. The additional terms occurring in the expression of the equations of motion should influence the values we obtain. The calculations carried out in case of the presence of additional terms (as a result of considering a more precise model of the mechanic system) shall be compared with the calculation carried out in the case of a classic approach.
