The long suffering economy means organizations must strive even harder to ensure employees flourish and help build business growth. Managers are the biggest, single influencers when it comes to creating and sustaining meaningful engagement, but they are not exploiting a full range of skills and capabilities that potentially give them even more leverage to engage others. Organizations have a duty to provide managers with the support and development they need in these key areas to ensure engagement for performance is a reality.
