Your background is predominantly in Human Resources. How did you find the transition to Organization Development? From a personal point-of-view it was a very welcome career transition. There was some planning involved, but mostly I was in the right place at the right time when Tate introduced the role, meaning I was able to make the move to OD from a more generalist HR position within an organization I love and know really well. I had undertaken some training in OD in my previous position for a local authority, and through that I joined a network of OD practitioners, which gave me a good link into the area, and some great relationships and support. As an HR practitioner, I always asked loads of questions, which also stood me in good stead for the move.
