摘要

Matching system and application architecture to requirements and the actual source code has been a tedious process in traditional development environments. Individual tools with independent file formats and simple export/import facilities can't match the pace of iterative development teams' rate of change. Integrating tools into a common platform enables teams to stay integrated and keeps models and other artifacts synchronized with the application code, improving team productivity and reducing communication errors. In addition, a wide variety of model types will continue to be utilized to communicate different aspects of systems yet will do so in a consistent fashion.
