Held in Abu Dhabi in December, just prior to CEDA Dredging Days (see page 30), this much-valued course is based on the book with the same title, produced as a joint effort by CEDA and IADC and published by Taylor and Francis in 2008.As said, it evolves constantly and one important change is in attitude, from reactive to more proactive, with environmental considerations included in projects at the earliest possible stage. In line with that, the latest knowledge and experience with the 'working with nature/ building with nature' approaches were also integrated into the lectures.
