Trailing suction hopper dredgers Queen of the Netherlands and Cornell's Zanen have completed their duties at Melbourne as the port's channel deepening project draws to a close "All major work is now completed within Port Phillip Bay - dredging is 99% complete," port spokesman Greg Russo told DPC. "We've also lifted our allowable shipping depth from 11.6m to 12.1m without tides," he added.
