Goltens Rotterdam's new, integrated 6500-m2 workshop facility will make the branch one of the most modern and leading diesel repair shops in continental Europe. Since its establishment in 1965, Goltens Rotterdam has had an impeccable reputation in the areas of ship engine, deck equipment, related machinery and pipe work repair and overhaul. But while the competence was and always has been top notch, the facilities needed to be upgraded in order to increase capacity and prepare for the future. "The move was necessary because we had basically outgrown our Welplaatkade and Sluisjesdijk locations," says Goltens Rotterdam Sales Manager Roelof Roomer. "Storage capacity has been increased, meaning we can now hold a larger amount of stock. In addition, the premises are better laid out, improving internal logistics and efficiencies."
