The weak dollar has caused commodity prices to nudge up, a potential inflationary threat. Any opinion from the chairman of the Fed regarding the value of the greenback is controversial because the Treasury handles exchange-rate policy.

While quite a number of English-Japanese dictionaries of business and legal terms have been publishedin Japan, there seem to be very few Japanese-English dictionaries on the market which give clear explanations of thesubtle differences in meaning between the various English equivalents of terms in such specialized fields.
