Intrusive and incompetent government has been on my mind a lot lately. Please rest assured that this Rant will not deal with ObamaCare or gun control, although I could fill the entire magazine with my thoughts on these subjects. While I'm neither a Libertarian or an Anarchist, being confronted with daily examples of government gone awry is extremely frustrating. Here are but a few examples: There is an Amtrak station a few miles from my home in Essex, Connecticut that gives us access to the Northeast rail corridor e.g. Boston to Washington.
