Innovation and technology have been a stalwart for many of the manufacturing improvements we see today and are part of every headline we read in the various trade magazines. While these two items are very importan and seem to be interchangeable, manufacturing processes require a special collaboration to maximize continuous improvement. Real improvement is achieved when the material manufacturers, machine tool builders, cutting tool manufacturers, and the end users of these items all work together to optimize the manufacturing process. For over 100 years, Vollmer has worked with the material manufacturers, cutting tool manufacturers, and manufacturing sites to ensure that the Vollmer machines meet or exceed the expectations of all involved in the process. This requires not only listening to our customers, but also our customers' customers.
