Over the years, the EDM process has proven to be the most efficient method of producing most molds, dies and other precision tooling. Both sinker and wire EDMs are now universally used in building the vast majority of the world's precision tools, molds and dies. Today's sophisticated EDM machines, with their jig-bore accuracies and their ability to produce super-fine finishes, have changed the tool & die making trade forever. However, just as the most accurate chip-cutting machine tool in the world requires an equally accurate and efficient cutting tool to do the job, so do EDM machines!
