Guide, subject matter specialist, learning agent or facilitator, what is the role of the teacher of the future? How will this role change as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) become more centrally incorporated into teaching? The book "Information and Communication Technology and the Teacher of the Future" presents the edited proceedings of a working conference on "ICT and the Future of the Teacher" held in Melbourne Australia in January of 2003. It details both current projects using ICT for primary and secondary education, and potential future visions of teaching with technology.
