R. Stahl, a manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment for hazardous areas, has introduced a direct entry Ex d series of enclosures that are suitable for universal use as a terminal box, local control station, motor starter or control panel. The 8250 series of direct entry Ex d enclosures are cost effective, versatile and offer exceptional safety in numerous power and control applications by confining any possible explosion within the enclosure itself, thereby protecting workers, assets and the environment from damage. Potential markets include onshore and offshore oil and gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, marine, Pharmaceuticals and machine building, as well as any industrial environment where potentially hazardous gas or dusts are present.
