Batteries manufacturer saft, is cooperating with Schneider Electric, to deliver a solar photovoltaic energy solution in Madagascar.rnThis project is the first step in SchneiderrnElectric'srnenergy access programme known asrnBipBop, for Business, Investment, People at the Bottom of the Pyramid - that aims to create a virtuous circle combining business, innovation and social responsibility. Saft's role in the project is to supply the battery, based on its Sunica.plus cells, for the off-grid electrification of Marovato, a village on Madagascar's east coast.
