Traction Parameter Investigation of the First Slovak Electric Car using DC Drive

摘要

This paper deals with investigation of basic traction parameters of the first Slovak electric car named MicroEco produced by VAB company in 1994. This primarily diesel engine car have been electrified by electric drive consist with NiCd batteries, analog DC/DC converter which feed separately excited DC motor. Reason for so deep investigation of traction parameters is to know precisely traction characteristics of electric drive with dual zone control scheme with four gear manual transmission. Mathematical model of converter, DC motor and simulation results are presented. Accordingly, measurements of drive on torque-meter and measurement of car on the vehicle test stand are presented as well. All features of this initially installed electric drive and recommendation from simulations results and measurements will be used for reconstruction of electric drive with new modern AC electric drive
