In this part I am concentrating on the Club Stand displays but with such a wide variety of presentations it is not going to be possible to mention every club's contribution, let alone include a photograph of every display. On the end wall as you entered the exhibition, the first club display you would have seen was that of the Melton Mowbray Society. They always produce a superb selection of their members' work, and so it was again this year. The centre piece revolving slowly on its stand was the rear axle for the superb Foden Speed Six Steam wagon being built by Norman Smedley.
