B.L. Herbert International, LLC (BLHI) is seeking an overseas Construction Project Engineer (CPE) for a large scale project located in Pakistan. Applicants must have 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer working on commercial buildings. Specific experience must include but is not limited to material take-off, submittals, RFI's, requisitions, quality control, field instructions, and day-to-day problem solving. Applicants must have familiarity with codes and standards such as ASTM, ACI, AISC, and CRSI. The successful candidate will be required to have or obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. The CPE's ability to understand construction drawings and specifications are vital. This individual will manage 15 to 20 Office Engineers and AutoCAD technicians while working side-by-side with Field Superintendents. Most importantly, this individual must have a passion for construction, a desire to learn, and a positive attitude. BLHI offers an excellent remuneration package including a competitive U.S. base salary, applicable overseas uplifts, completion bonus, local housing, post allowance, local transportation, ability to earn 30 days of vacation per year, vacation air tickets, 401K plan and group insurance.
