摘要

This article deals with the hydrodynamic study in a scrubbing column filled with gauze metal packing(Sulzer BX)in which gas and liquid flow countercurrently. This tower is used to recover hydrosoluble Volatile Organic Compounds(VOC)in small concentration from exhaust air. Correlations based on experimental data are proposed to predict pres- Sure drop, flooding velocity and liquid hold-up. Such correlations are Achieved from literature equations. The main interest of this structured Packing is to present a weak pressure drop.
