A long-term reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration could include the extension of a number of clean energy tax provisions that were inadvertently excluded from a broader omnibus spending package in December 2015, the top Senate Finance Committee Democrat said March 17. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) told the American Council on Renewable Energy policy conference he will push for the inclusion of "a number of clean energy provisions that were left behind" in the fiscal year spending package (Pub. L. No. 114-113) due to "an oversight." Those include credits for fuel cells, geothermal and small wind installations, he said.
