The Environmental Protection Agency will be "running" for the next 10 months to check off items from a packed agenda ranging from climate to civil rights issues, Gina McCarthy, the agency's administrator, said March 16. That includes, McCarthy made clear, action on climate change. While the EPA will respect the Supreme Court's decision to stay the Clean Power Plan's (RIN 2060-AR33) implementation, the environment agency will continue to take action to address the issue of climate change, she said. "You're asking the questions that keep me up at night," McCarthy told the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council at its meeting in Gulfport, Miss., in response to questions about future action on a number of justice issues. "Anything I can do in the next 10 months, we're going to do it."
