Federal agencies will be required to review national energy policy in an effort to develop a comprehensive energy strategy, under a presidential memorandum issued by the White House Jan. 9. The Quadrennial Energy Review requires executive agencies to provide regular recommendations to be conducted by an interagency task force, with the first focused on the "infrastructure involved in transporting, transmitting, and delivering energy," the White House said.
