Natural gas wells drilled near tainted drinking water wells in Wyoming do not appear to have problems that would contribute to the drinking water contamination, the Wyoming agency studying complaints said in an Aug. 5 report. "Review of available records for the gas wells determined that all wells were properly permitted, drilled, completed, and operated in compliance with applicable State and/or federal rules and regulations, and in accordance with accepted industry standards and practices," the report by the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission said.
