Headwaters Resources Inc., the largest manufacturer and marketer of coal combustion residuals, filed a lawsuit April 13 asking the court to set deadlines for the Environmental Protection Agency to issue final regulations on coal ash (Headwaters Resources v. Jackson, D.D.C., No. 12-cv-00585, 4/13/12). The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
