The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced an initiative April 16 to highlight renewable energy projects, such as wind and solar ventures, that are stalled by environmental reviews.rnThe chamber said its "Project No Project" initiative will track thousands of new energy projects it says are being needlessly held up by permitting and siting challenges, opposition by local and activist groups, and other "green" tape.rnSpeaking during a conference call, William Kovacs, chamber vice president for environment and regulatory affairs, said that some projects are held up for years, preventing renewable electricity production that could lower greenhouse gas emissions and preventing job creation.
