While much attention in recent times has been focused on climate change and energy issues, companies should recognize that water sus-tainability may emerge as an equally important factor shaping the global business environment in the coming years.rnWater resources management is beginning to play a significant role in organizations' corporate sustainability programs. Drivers such as increasing water-related costs, water-related business disruptions, and growing concern among stakeholders about companies' water-related performance will continue to impact business valuernand strengthen the case for improved water management strategies.
