Concerning of a recent study on biological monitoring of neonicotinoid metabolites (m-NEO) in China by Song et al., we express a concern on the data presented in the articles. First, several plotted data are below limit of quantification (LOQ), while authors stated that "concentrations below the LOQ_were excluded from the estimation of the ratio of urinary m-NEO to corresponding NEO and in the correlation analysis". For example, LOQ, of Of-IMI is 0.02, then log Of-IMI is -1.7. However, several markers less than -1.7 of X-coordinate were observed in plots between log Of-IMI and log N-dm-ACE, and log DIN-G in Figure 5. This is also addressed for plots of log DIN-U (log LOQ is -2) and log N-dm-ACE (log LOQ is -2) in Figure 5, and a plot of log N-dm-ACE in Figure 4.
