It was concluded, based on the conservative desk-based risk assessment, that risks toward the fish community could not be ruled out and that a site-specific assessment was warranted. The geophysical survey detected buried objects and wrecks in the primary dumpsite and identified these to be potential hotspots for CWA. Several CWA degradation products were found in the sediment samples near the wrecks and near the buried magnetic objects (56 out of 59 samples).
