High speed electrical motors contribute to the development of electricity applications. So as to improve the promotion of these engines, a program of studies based on numerical tools have been developed by the DER. Electromagnetic and thermal phenomena and friction losses are well accounted for in these numerical models. Thanks to tests performed on experimental models, numerical tools have been validated in case of several high speed motors working point.%Les moteurs électriques rapides contribuent au développement des applications de l'électricité. Afin de favoriser la promotion de ces moteurs, un programme d'étude basé sur des outils numériques, a été mis au point par la DER. Les phénomènes électromagnétiques, aérauliques et thermiques présents lors des fonctionnements de ces moteurs sont réprésentés avec une précision satisfaisante dans ces modèles numériques. Grâce aux essais effectués sur des maquettes expérimentales, les outils numériques ont été validés dans les-conditions de fonctionnement des moteurs électriques à grande vitesse.
