The UK Government is moving forward with its legislative programme to reform intellectual property law following the publication of the Hargreaves Review in 2011. One part of this programme is contained in the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013. The Act introduces changes to a number of wide-ranging and disparate areas of law including, in the intellectual property field, significant changes to the laws governing copyright and performers rights. These changes are discussed in this article.
