In two weeks, the Polish government will unveil its draft geological and mining law regulating shale gas exploitation. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that this issue was a "top priority" for the Environment Ministry this year. Hence the recent appointment of Maciej Grabowski - former deputy minister for finance - at the head of the ministry.
