The NGO Transport & Environment (T&E) is contesting the composition of an informal working group for technical advice (WGTA), set up by the European Commission to prepare a review of Directive 97/68/EC on emissions from non-road mobile machinery. In a letter sent to Commissioners Antonio Tajani (enteprise and industry) and Maros Sefcovic (interinstitu-tional relations and administration) on 5 February, T&E's Director, Jos Dings, expresses his 'strong concerns' over the process by which DG Enterprise and Industry is finalising its proposal for changes to the directiv.
