EMC'S steve houck believes the planets are in the best possible alignment for the SMB storage market right now. At least that's what it sounded like when I recently spoke with the vice president of worldwide sales for EMC Insignia. Houck described an incredible confluence of forces within the small and midsize business market that will create enormous growth and opportunity in the next two years. Insignia is the SMB hardware and software product line for EMC, a $9.7 billion storage and information management vendor in Hopkinton, Mass.
