As you may have noticed, your current issue is somewhat larger than you are accustomed to.rnExpert Systems With Applications has experienced considerable success, both in quality and in quantity.rnGenerally, all articles are published (and are citable) online on ScienceDirect as "articles in press" within three to six working days after acceptance of the article by the journal.rnIn order to also ensure timely publication of the print version of these articles (and alleviate any possible print backlog) we are currently tripling up on our general issues and condensing them into single issues.rn1 would like to apologize for the current unwieldy size of these print issues and thank you for your kind understanding.
